Satsuma plums, shatavari, gentian root, cacao and cardamom were extracted in bourbon, with a maple syrup finish. Add these bitters to cocktails, seltzer, or take before each meal to help activate the bitter taste buds and in turn, stimulate the digestive system. If you aren’t used to taking bitters and find these to be a bit too bitter, you can add a little maple syrup to the bottle…but not too much. If you lose the bitter flavor completely, you’ll lose the digestive stimulant benefits of the bitters.

To use: Take a quarter to a half dropper full about 20 minutes prior to eating a meal to stimulate digestion.

Bitters come in a reusable glass bottle with glass dropper in 1oz and 2oz sizes. They are best stored out of sunlight, at room temperature.

Hazy Shade of Winter Cocktail Recipe

1oz bourbon or rye
2-3 droppers full Hazy Shade of Winter (or more, to taste)
ice (or no ice if you prefer neat)

Pour bourbon or rye into a glass or over ice. Add Hazy Shade of Winter. Enjoy! You could also add a splash of soda for taste and to dilute the alcohol a bit.
