Among many other benefits, its bark acts as an anxiolytic to help reduce anxiety, depression and stress. It can also help to induce sleep through its slight sedative properties. Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus) is broad-reaching and brings us back into a state of balance, slowly and steadily. It supports the entire body, promoting soft, supple, healthy tissues from the inside out; balancing hormones; enhancing energy and many other physiological effects. Shatavari encourages us to be tender, kind, joyful and compassionate. It can allow you to adapt to situational stress and calm an overactive mind or anxiety brought on by that stress. Rose (Rosa sp.) evokes the spirit of love in the heart and mind and serves as the visual reminder of strength/boundaries/protection (thorns) and softness/openness/vulnerability (soft, delicate flowers) coexisting within us. It allows us to balance those qualities within ourselves. The intoxicating scent of a rose can relieve depressive moods and create a mild feeling of euphoria.
